Learn how to store milestone events, upload photos, manage reviews, and configure page visibility for your lab's digital yearbook.
The Lab Memories space serves as a secure 'digital home' to preserve meaningful academic achievements and photos, building your lab's brand on the public Marketplace and driving storage quota upgrades via Shadow Billing.
Structured submissions powered by the secure HTTP 202 review workflow.
Standard Members choose to upload photos/files and fill in event details. The system creates a PENDING_REVIEW draft instead of committing it immediately.
Lab Admins receive notifications and access the ApprovalsTab to inspect submissions. Approving (APPROVED) publishes it onto the timeline.
If a Lab Admin (Owner, Admin, Deputy) uploads a memory, the system skips the review queue and publishes it (APPROVED) instantly.
Granular tab permissions and data governance rules.
Choose from 3 security levels: PRIVATE (lab members only), INTERNAL_ORG (organization members only), or GLOBAL_PUBLIC (featured on the public marketplace).
The overall Lab visibility scope strictly overrides Tab visibility. If the Lab is PRIVATE, external users cannot access the yearbook tab even if set to GLOBAL_PUBLIC.
To set a Lab to GLOBAL_PUBLIC, the Mother Organization Admin or System Admin must recursively review and approve the request via PublicApprovalTab.
Engaging milestone timelines directly on your Dashboard.
New published memories appear on member Dashboards. Clicking the memory marks it as 'Viewed' and removes it from the feed.
The system automatically alerts members of historical milestones occurring on the current calendar date. Members can dismiss notifications for the current year.
Using the memory_show_creator flag, labs can prevent a creator's own uploads from showing up as unread alerts on their own Dashboard.
